SFArtsED brings arts education to Minnesota Street Project (MSP)

Since 1968, the San Francisco Arts Education Project has created hands-on creative experiences for children in San Francisco public schools alongside some of the Bay Area’s finest practicing artists. Through in-school artist residencies, after-school and weekend programs and a six-week arts summer camp, SFArtsED has earned the reputation as San Francisco’s finest arts education program.

Now SFArtsED proudly takes the next big step: opening an art studio-classroom and office space in Deborah and Andy Rappaport’s Minnesota Street Project in Dogpatch. This former industrial warehouse is now the epicenter of San Francisco’s newest arts district, housing 11 contemporary art galleries and one nonprofit: SFArtsED.

SFArtsED will conduct after-school, weekend and summer classes for students in the MSP studio and make the space available for

  • exhibits
  • workshops
  • collaborations
  • trainings
  • adult classes

The MSP studio is a busy, thriving center for creativity and arts instruction in all their many and exciting forms.
